First National Bank service absolutely revolting!

I am a Premier Banking Client at FNB. I already have a Business account as well as personal account with FNB. I recently started a new business and thought we will open the new bank account at FNB, what a shock awaited me.

At FNB Sea Point we have to open a Business account online. 4 months later and still no luck after numerous calls to the FNB call centres. I evantually decided to cancel the whole process and rather go to another bank. 1 Week after cancelling the whole process I receive a business debit card delivered from FNB. I went in to Portside branch and after 2 hours the poor guy told me that he can see there was a problem and it should never have taken so long for the account to be opened, and I shouldn't have been sent the card either. Clearly the different deparments don't know what they are doing. I logged a complaint online at Portside FNB and the only response I received was a standard letter from FNB stating that they have followed up on the query and all is sorted.

Not one person in FNB has even offered to assist us to try and keep us as a client or offered to rectify their mistakes.

I have since opened a business bank account at BIDVEST BANK within 7 working days. Their business banker even completed all documents and made sure we have submitted evrything. This in the comfort of our office. Now that is service!

This afternoon I had a query on my personal account, so I called FNB. Not surprised to just hear a message that heir business hours are from 8 to 5....How is it possible then that FNB advertise loud and proud on TV and Radio that they offer after hour service to Premier Clients?

False advertising from FNB if you ask me...

Well hello BIDVEST and goodbye FNB, I had enough!
