First National Bank ROBS the Poor!!

I cannot express how disappointed I am at the First National Bank Branch in Butterworth!!!

My Father, David Bota had recieved a call from FNB in January 2021 that my uncle’s funeral policy, which my Dad has been paying for since 2014 has been frozen, he needs to bring my uncle’s Proof of Residence.

My father did as requested by FNB and brought the proof of residence to Butterworth FNB branch. He did not bring my uncle as he was EXTREMELY ill and could not afford standing in the long cues at FNB just to submit a proof of residence.

My father was turned back as the FNB officials insisted that my very ill uncle should bring the proof of residence himself.

In panic, My father in February of 2021, brought my uncle to FNB Butterworth along with the requested document, but they were turned back again so my father could get a power of attorney at the magistrate court. My father went to numerous magistrate courts to request a power of attorney but the magistrate court does not provide such a document and my father does not afford services of a lawyer.

He went to explain the situation at the FNB branch in Butterworth, but was still unassisted.

Today my uncle has passed on. We have been loyal customers of FNB since 2014 and because of the lack of competence and UBUNTU of the FNB officials, my uncle’s policy is still frozen, and we need money to arrange for him to have a dignified funeral.

I am ashamed of the poor service the underprivileged get from these big companies. The **************** has to stop!!!!!!
