First National Bank Premier Services are not worth the charges we pay every month
I am a premier banking member who has a home loan with FNB and will soon be going on maternity leave and as per my contract of employment I will only be receiving 75% of my salary so on the 6th July I contacted the *** number I was transferred around and ended up being transferred to the wrong extension number multiple times until I gave up and sent an email to *** and I did not receive any feedback even after I tried to send a direct message to the FNB social media account on Twitter.
On the 17 July 2020 I called again and demanded that the lady that assisted me helps me and if she is not willing to help me then she must transfer me to her manager because every month I am paying charges for Premier banking services but am not getting any assistance it was only then I was transferred to Mvubu Philisiwe who sent me a quick fix application form that I completed and sent back on the 23rd July 2020 and since then I have not received any feedback. The delay was due to the fact that I work 5 night shifts a week in an emergency department in a hospital so half the day I sleep and prepare for the next day I do not have the convenience of a printer at home so that means I need to go out and find an internet cafe during these stressful times!!!!
I would also just like to add that MFC assisted me within 48hours about the arrangement as far as my car loan is concerned so they cannot make any excuses!!!
My fear now is that by the time I go on maternity leave and am unable to pay my home loan they will try to make it seem like I am the one that is at fault and I am sure we all know what happens to whatever bank financed asset you have when you are unable to make payments.
