First National Bank - Never open an account with FNB - your executor will have a hard time to close the accounts.

<p>I am trying to close accounts of a deceased person (I am the executor) - at first and since the end of June the Branch at Preller Square, Bloemfontein had different instructions, but I eventually got it right to please all different views from the bank's personel how to close the accounts - "it should take 10 to 14 days" - I was told. Yesterday I was there and believe me nothing had been done - I was promised that I will be called back yesterday - nobody did. Again today I popped in - now I was told it will take 8 weeks."How can we help you" means nothing - I phoned the area manager - he said he will come back to me - let us see. Are these people getting some way of training or are they just waiting for the next salary - I promise if they worked in my office, they would have been on a disciplinary long ago.</p>
