First National Bank Inconsederation of customer
On the 24th of June 2015, I was attacked still heading to the ATM in Fort Beaufort and my Card was taken from me forcefully by a black male. I had not even reached the ATM and never put in my pin! (All of this is on video) He then headed to the other ATM in town and drew R3000.00 and to a bottle store and swiped for R1302.98. All of this before I could get trough to FNB call centre as their lines kept cutting off, eventually I got trough and got my card cancelled but it was to late!!! The claim was lodged the same night and today 8/7/15 I phoned to find out what the bank was going to do about the matter and I was told it is my own problem they will not be paying back the money as the attacker got hold of my pin... How? I never entered it and I did not hove it written down anywhere, so it must have come from the banks side???? To make it even worse the bank did not even let me know the outcome or how they investigated. I would be very interested to know if they ever bothered to look at the footage. I have been a FNB customer for over 30 years and have never received such bad service and now I have lost R4302.98 thanks to their baking systems failing me and them forcing us to use ATM
