We as the family of the late Maria Johanna Prins ID:*** are greeved by the way FNB is handling her will. In the beginning it was quite a struggle to determine which FNB entity will be helping us to get the process on the way. The will was done in Bronkhorstspruit where she was living but the Guy just showed us away to go to the Menlyn branch.Menlyn branch sent us to Joburg branch. Going back and forward.

Eventually we got hold of Lerato Mogorosi but than battled with communication and requirements,so I went to Tepello (the manager) at Middelburg branch who was very helpful and arranged a Zoom meeting to streamline things.The paperwork was send in March last year.We expedite on a monthly bases to follow the process. But just sometimes receives a generic e mail "We are still waiting for the Master of the high court to issue the appointment letter.'' As a result we requested proof of expediting on this matter, all further mails were not answered any more.

We feel that the FNB has a responsibility to ease the family's grief by handeling these matters with respect and decency. By reporting the status on a monthly basis and pushing these cases to be closed ASAP so that the family members can get closure as soon as possible.

I can tell you Honestly if this is the way FNB is working with wills I will not hesitate to tell the world not to do so.
