Finance declined despite setting up surety
We are start up business who has an investment that we draw from annually. The amount in the investment is plus minus R2. 4 million rand, I have requested FNB to grant us funding for R500k using our investment as surety as we are a startup and don't have the necessary financials. We are told our finance is declined due to it being less than 6 months operating. So how will black business like ours grow and create jobs and participate in the economy when the banks decline our applications despite the fact that we have a business plan and also placed surety on the full amount with interest. I have personally been a FNB customer since I started working 13 years ago and have had 4 credit agreements with them which have been settled but now are not providing me with an opportunity to fast track my business and create employment for the previously disadvantaged youth of my community.
