Finally service

After being given the runaround from FNB staff to update my cell phone and email address I was finally assisted when I was just about to fly home from the UK and close my account. After never receiving emails from FNB I realised that they had incorrectly entered one extra letter in my Email address and I only found out after moving to the UK and needed to update my new cell phone number. I had supp**** them with what they asked for ( copy of passport, a dated stamp from the place I am staying as proof of my residence) and still nothing, evidently FNB needed proof that I was in the UK and after telling them they are welcome to phone me on my new +44 number (which would provide proof of me being in the UK) and asking me security questions to their hearts desire still nothing, all the while being unable to do a single transaction without an active banking app. Long story short the service was pathetic and non exsistant for the most part BUT a big shout out to Colin Mashatola for using some initiative, going the extra mile and helping me get it sorted out. FNB as a company gets a nothing out of 5 stars in general from me and Colin Mashatola at their customer helpline gets a 5.
