FICA You RMB!

<p>I have been a client of FNB/RMB for more than 50 years, and have been a client of RMBPB since 1991. I also have several companies which have banking facilities with RMB. While I accept that FICA is required by law, the RMB tactics can only be describes as third world ****gery! Recently the FICA police at RMB started harassing me for an update on the statutory information required for one of my companies; notwithstanding that company details have not changed since inception in 1998 and were confirmed when FICA was introduced in 2003. </p> <p> </p> <p>1. You receive an anonymous e-mail from an purported RMB website demanding that you supply certain information, and threatening.</p> <p>2. You are not given details, they send no prescribed forms and do not respond to e-mails.</p> <p>3. I have provided the information requested in several forms; interalia letters from my accountant.</p> <p>4. Five days after submission, an anonymous someone decides that the format is incorrect, and you are sent a form to fill in. this is he form that was never supp**** at the outset, but was being held in reserve to rpolong the process.</p> <p>5. Thereafter receive further ananymous threatening e-mails every couple of days and twice on Saturdays. All this notwithstanding the fact that they have been advised that the worid does not revolve around them and that the accountants will provide the same information on their prescribed form as soon as possible.</p> <p> </p> <p>6. It has reached the point that I have sent them a Cease and Desist notice because they will not listen to facts; They keep threatening me for no good reason and are clearly incapable of reading the contents of my e-mails.</p> <p>7. Be advised RMB that I am in the process of taking legal advice and will if appropriate be filing ******** charges of ************ and harassment against the personnel directly involved. It they are not identifiable, then the same charges will be filed against whichever bank officer my legal adviser deems to be the party overall responsible for this travesty.</p>
