FICA Ya wouldn't want to be Ya

So FNB are doing the FICA dance where they conviently state they dont seem to have your ID on file (even though it has been used to collect every renewal card from the branch and when the account was opened they would have had a copy) but this is completly you as the customers fault. Obviously.

The customer should therefore be punished by immediately locking out said account. Customer sufficently annoyed decides to follow the instructions on sms to provide personal details (ignoring the fact they state repeatedly that they will NEVER ask for personal details by email or sms but seem to think an SMS to send your ID copy to mailing list doesnt fit into this description) to the email address. Further as customer wishes to use his card he logs into internet banking (after much faffing because his username reset was not working (query 128864NFQ)) logged into his account only to find no such menu to update his KYC details (Complaint 999658).

So post this following all the said instructions and not recieving the said clerance on his account he decided to phone a call center at 16h45 on Friday afternoon (26 Aug 16). Customer then told although details had been recieved they will at their leasuire process the said customers access to account at their earliest convienced over the next 48 hours (ignoring of course the extreme inconvience to the customer they caused in the first place). I should add as i type this it is 17h30 and customer has been on hold for 45mins to try sort same.

Oh and I have just been cut off from said call center. So thanks for that.

Yours faithfully

One truly unimpressed and irate customer (James)
