FICA SMS - THREATS OF CLOSING MY ACCOUNT

Received an SMS from FNB demanding I provide them with ID and Proof of residence or else they will freeze my account? I find it bizarre, as not only have I been a customer of theirs for 4+ years, I have our primary residence home loan with them - which they also FICA'd at time of bond approval. Gave notice to move my bond to Investec as they will provide me with a better rate. Wonder if this has something to do with it? A bemused FNB Private Client.
