FICA (KYC) KILLING YOUR CLIENT
On 3rd, 8th & 10th December 2014 the FICA documents asked for were delivered and signed for by FNB Rivonia. On 10th Dec 2014 FNB confirmed that these had been sent to Symington & De Kock in Bftn.
Four months later on 7th April 2015 FNB send an e mail stating that I am not compliant and have seven days before the account is frozen.
Two phone calls to *** on 7th and 9th April were met with a promise to phone back. Of course no one phoned back.
E mail received on 9th April from FNB stated that three documents were outstanding. I rep**** that the documents referred to were delivered to FNB in Dec 2014. No reply No Apology. Copies of the three documents were however sent again on 9th Aprl 2015.
Today, a year later I receive and e mail stating the one document is still required and I hae 7 days to comply.
FNB can take months or even a year to respond but I have 7 days
