FICA documents

I am a South African citizen living in the United Kingdom. I have been informed that I need to supply FNB with documents for FICA verification of my bank account that I still have with them.

I have phoned customer care and have been passed around from department to department. I have been told that I need to fly to South Africa to present my documents in a branch. This is completely unacceptable as I have no plans to visit South Africa in the next year.

I was passed to the premier banking team by someone in at customer services and was then informed they have an email address I can send the documents to. However I was then told I am not a premier banking member so have to come into a branch.

This is completely absurd as I am not willing to fly to South Africa simply to provide documents I could easily email. The option on the FNB website is to fax the documents but this has to be done from a bank in the UK, which is something my bank does not do. (a ludicrous request from FNB)

I have all the copies scanned and ready to send via email but just need FNB to come to the party and make this possible, which after 1 hour on the phone seems impossible at the moment.
