#Feesmustfall
FNB just charged me R391.80 + another R47.50 for a cash deposit someone else paid into my account.
I'm sorry but that is bordering on ridiculous!

05 Dec 2018, 09:17I received a call from Forrest Hill branch yesterday TELLING me that the person making the deposit was informed that it would be cheaper to make the deposit into my account at the ATM and therefore there was nothing they could do for me.
So this is the problem I have with this logic, the person making the deposit is not the client and therefore he has no say on this matter so FNB cannot ask them anything especially if there is a cost implication on my account. They should ask the client (especially if the client is the one who will be paying for this).
I.E. How can FNB make a decision on my account (and charge me almost R400) given them by a complete stranger and NOT check this with the actual account holder (client) - who do they think the client is?
Also I am trying to get hold of the lady (Liz I think) who called me from Forrest Hill but that seems impossible.
