Fees paid for a closed account

I went to FNB Brackenfell on the 29th of January to close my credit card account and the assistant faxed the instruction. However, this morning I received a statement with fees deducted on the 6th of February. I sent a complaint that the account should've been closed and received a response. The account was subsequently closed, but there was no mention of the fees that I had to pay unnecessarily.
