Feedback

Following my "Why Do I Still Bank With Fnb" posts I had received a call from FNB Woodstock's branch manager. 1. The more I said I had not been contacted by FNB's card delivery services, the more she insisted they had and claimed there were records to prove it. 2. She promised to email the delivery services team with my contact details. And send me a confirmation SMS thereafter.

On receiving the promise I had insisted on receiving the number of the delivery services team because after already waiting for 10-working days (which is 5 more than promised) I was not going to wait for an email process especially on a Friday. I wanted to call them myself to get in contact before Friday becomes Saturday , leading to Sunday and then becoming Monday.

Thank God I did because the claims she had made (rudely) stating I have "beeeen" contacted were confirmed invalid yesterday by one of the delivery system consultants who stated that my number has been entered onto their (delivery team's) systems incorrectly. It was entered as ********** 34 and not ********** 340. And ofcause my confirmation SMS was not received.

I don't need a call - now that I have discussed a day for delivery with the relevant team. I'd just like to urge employees (management or not) at FNB in general to CHECK THE VALIDITY and/or accuracy OF RECORDS 1st before using it as evidence more valid than the words of your clients. And to focus more on resolving the issue as opposed to looking better than worse.
