Fed up client
Dear FNB/RMB,
I'm fed up with the treatment I'm getting from FNB. Despite my long history with the bank and efforts to rectify past debt issues, I'm being denied a basic credit card limit. Meanwhile, Absa is throwing offers at me left and right.
It's laughable that FNB invites me to join Private Wealth when I'm not even getting basic benefits. The Black Card feels like a joke without access to credit facilities. It's like FNB is just trying to pacify me with empty gestures.
What's infuriating is the one-sided relationship. FNB wants me to insure my vehicle, move my RA, get a life policy, and more. But when I ask for a modest credit limit or mortgage approval (which was recently denied), I'm met with rejection. It seems FNB only wants to take, not give.
The lack of communication and coordination within FNB's system is frustrating. The mobile app sends notifications about potential eBucks earnings if I had a credit card or loan – the very things I'm being denied. It's like rubbing salt in the wound.
I value my relationship with FNB, but it's clear they don't value me as a customer. I'm not asking for special treatment, just fair consideration. Is it too much to ask for a credit facility when I'm willing to work with them?
