Faulty card chip and horrifically bad service
I have been waiting since April for FNB to replace the faulty chip card they provided me with in February - yes, it takes less than two months for FNB's sub standard cards to stop working. I have been in contact with FNB multiple times, each time requesting contact details for the courier or alternatively for them to contact me outside of my working hours (I'm not expecting anything absurd like phoning me at night, I simply want to speak to someone between 13:00 and 14:00 as our company has a strict cellphone policy), but they have failed to do so on multiple occassion. Furthermore, my latest email - sent on the 15th of June 2018 - has been blatantly ignored.
And so I continue to pay for a card that I can only use at certain stores that support the tap and go function, or purchase online, as most card readers are unable to read to faulty chip.
