FALSE and MISLEADING ADVERTISING FOR SMARTPHONE PROMOTION.

I wish to complain about the false and misleading information given on the FNB Connect site, by the FNB connect consultant and by the call centre. I signed for a promotion offer on a FNB ConeXis phone advertised as R99pm x 24mths on the FNB website After I had seen the bank consultant who did the contract, immediately R500 was taken off my cheque account. I was told that this was a nonrefundable deposit i.e. a payment so in fact I am now paying R120pm. Where is the promotion? Also the bank consultants website had contradictory information on it so I was led to think that there was no R500 due as were the bank officials. R500 over 2 yrs is not a big deal but I am so disappointed with FNB that I have not used the phone yet. The FNB connect consultant was less than helpful. The manager of Kloof bank was excellent but this was not really her problem.
