False Advertising from FNB Connect

<p>I was approached by FNB connect to change over to their service provider, among the other perks, I was told always free Whatsapp services, as the consultant told me, even if you don't have data you can still send Whatsapps. It also showed on their website that free Whatsapp is part of the package. A month later I get a SMS that the promotion has expired. I know it's something small, but I feel like I'm getting ripperd off here, I was offered a perk that I'm not getting anymore, but I am still paying the same amount. </p> <p> </p> <p>I called their customer care line to enquire, I was told the matter will be escilated and I will be contacted within 48 hours, the consultant agreed with me that it was not advertised as a temporary promotion. 2 Days later I call them back, and the new consultant is trying to explain to me how long 48 hours are, and trying to convince me that they meant 48 working hours! I demand a supervisor, who is not only unhelpful but rude also! The matter is still being escilated to the back office, he however cannot put me through to the back office because there is nobody there that I can speak to! </p> <p> </p> <p>I have been a loyal FNB client for many years, and always promote them, but their call centre is the most aweful department to deal with, rude, unhelpful and poorly trained people (if trained at all) that have absolutely no idea how to handle any form of enquiry! I won't even go into how hard it is to change your address or a phone number on their system. </p>
