False Advertising by FNB
Because i have Private Banking with FNB i receive 4 slow lounge entries that we used on the 22nd of December 2019. My Wife, myself and our two kids. The slow lounge reception scanned my phone and let us in so we had a few snacks and drinks. We boarded our flight to Munich and when we arrived at our Hotel i received a notification from FNB that says that R1700 went of my account. As i logged into the app i see that they charged me for the use of the slow lounge where they were supposed to use the vouchers. I contacted FNB through the apps private chat and they said they will investigate and get back to me which they did not. I contacted them again the next day then they said the waiting on ebuck for feed back. Next day i contacted them again and a chap by the name of Enock helped me and he said they will refund me R1300 as that i have to pay for one and the amount will be refunded with in 48 hours and that was Christmas Eve. I kept on contacting them everyday to hear when the refund will happen and all they say is that it has been escalated. Eventually i gave up to speak to them directly when i get back in South Africa. We got back on the second and same procedure and same excuse everyday. The last time i spoke to them was the 29th of January 2020 and they said they guarantee me that someone will phone me back but until today no one contacted me or no monies was refunded.
The we get to Forex. They say that you get ebucks when you exchange funds but what they don't tell you is that you only get ebucks when you exchange foreign currency's.
So to sum it up, lots of false advertising !!!!
No monies refunded and no ebucks points for exchanging rand to euros
