False Advertising

I am so dissapointed with FNB, they sent me an sms about a promotion where I had to open a gold check account and get R1000. After opening the account I was informed that I need to switch my salary and at least to debit orders to get the R1000 which I did, and now out of sudden nobody knows anything about the R1000 I'm being sent from pillar to post. As much as it would have been nice to get the R1000 what angers me most is being treated like an idiot, should they have just admitted that it was false advertising I would have moved on from this.
