False advertising

Extremely disappointed to receive this message from FNB represented by Brooks and Luyt offering a 70% discount on Loan Settlement and when called, they said I cant even get a 5% discount on settlement and that the message was sent in error, when asked to speak to a TL or Manager they said no one available and that they will send another msg to say ignore that msg. They said they have arranged for call back from manager, still waiting for one. That's really playing with customers feelings at these trying times. The least they could have done is returned a courtesy call by a manager or supervisor.

The message reads below:

GRAB THIS OPPORTUNITY TODAY! Settle your FNB Loan with a massive 70% discount. To secure this offer call Brooks and Luyt *** ***

After the call they sent msg to say ignore it:

Brooks&Luyt Inc. apologises for sms sent on 29 October 2020 in error on your FNB Loan account. Please ignore the sms. Ref***
