False advertising. 25% discount but they actually add 25% when you go into the store

I received an email from FnB advertising a 25% discount on Ray Ban sunglasses at Vision Works optometrists. I'm sure like many other customers, I went to the Vision works website, took note of the range and the prices of sunglasses. I landed in joburg for the day, called the shop and then drove +- 50km to the store.

The glasses were displayed online for R1995. When I wanted to pay, the lady told me they were +- R2350. I informed her this was not correct and had to go so far as fetch my laptop from the car, link my phone for internet and show her the website. She called around and eventually spoke to head office (which I eventually did too). His answer is the most nonsensical, least transparent and most sever blatant lie iv ever heard. No he says, the online price is the online price and the instore price is different. So let me get this straight: The in-store price is 25% MORE than the online price and then FnB KINDLY give you a 25% discount, so basically the price is unchanged. It's clear this is COMPLETELY dishonest!!!! Imagine seeing a Weber braai for R500 on the Makro website and upon entering the store, you are told that the price is actually R750! I'm shocked by how blatant this ******* deal is and how confidently the man from head office relayed his response. Furthermore, their card machine wasn't working so i had to draw cash and didn't earn ebucks. All in all a terrible experience. Please give me a full explanation of this as soon as possible.
