Failure to knowledge responsibility
My colleague and I where a victim of atm ******** at Linton Grange atms on Monday 25 Jan.
App this is not the first attack at these atm's and FNB is fully aware of it as the police advised that 50+ cases are pending.
We called FNB to have our cards stopped immediately and have new cards sent to Baywest Branch and was advised there is no branch like that on their systems.
We went to Baywest branch the next day only to have a gentleman advise us we need to phone UTI and sort it ourselves there is nothing he can do. We did this gave the Baywest code was promised that our cards would be delivered at Baywest after numerous calls and interaction with FNB. Must say most of the calls where not very pleasant and staff where very un help full. FNB blames UTI and UTI blames FNB for the error of our cards not being sent to the correct store. Our cards are now at 2 different branches, but no one can arrange for our cards to be sent to correct branch as requested. Its a contentious case of PASS THE BUCK.
And as for the ATM attack something should really be done. 2 attacks in 1 week same atm. whats does this say abt FNB and the security towards their clients.
