Failed promises

After many many years with MTN, I chose to switch to FNB as I already bank with them (and MTN is very much in the drain now), and as a whole the value offered by FNB seems to be great so far.

So it is extremely disappointing that they have managed to ***** up a cell port as badly as they have, and it appears largely to do with the delivery partner they have chosen to send out new sims, and their apparent inability to manage or track progress of delivery.

I ordered the cell contract port from FNB on the 23rd of November with everything appearing to go smoothly, except that I have been promised my new sim every day since the Friday that week with nothing to show for it. It's now over a week later, my cell phone has been completely cut off from all networks, and I STILL don't have a sim (so I can't active the new network), and still no clear reason why digitalplanet is unable to perform the only task they have.

I really expect more from FNB, but the the lack of concern or any sense of urgency in correcting this ***** up is making me think twice about their ability to provide a high level of service.
