Failed forex

Kindly note that a swift transaction for 3300 usd was made to a beneficiary and was successful. Thereafter a another swift transaction for 1500 usd was made to the same beneficiary. Since the recipient had not received the funds I contacted forex to trace the transaction. It appears that the transaction had failed due to a routing problem. Kindly note that the beneficiary details have not changed. An amount of 1417.50 usd was returned. Further to this I asked to speak to a team leader/manager but was not put through to one. Also they refused to refund the money into my cheque account unless I emailed them. I had already authenticated myself on the telephone anyway, I stressed that this was for payment for accommodation for my daughter who was already in a foreign country and that it was way overdue. Subsequently I used funds from my credit card to send her money in her cashpassport to pay for the accommodation. Later in the day I was refunded my money.

It is puzzling how the first transaction was successful whilst the second one failed. It seems that I am being penalised for a banking system that I have no control over. It seems that someone has benefited due to the charges incurred (also less than 1500 usd returned)

I have written to ********** providing all relevant documentation but I wonder if they care. This matter should be thoroughly investigated, especially the refusal to let me speak to someone senior at forex.
