Failed by the cover I counted on

I took out an FNB Law on Call cover a while ago and I was unfairly dismissed at work after which I contacted FNB Law on Call for a lawyer to be allocated to me. I then consulted with the lawyers and gave them a mandate. The lawyers had 30 to refer my case for arbitration but they never did this in time even though I mandated them on time and they ended up having to apply for co donation which they failed to motivate for and was declined. In all this, I would be the one following up on the progress of my case and in many cases the lawyers would ignore my messages and where I sent a WhatsApp to the lawyers they would blue-tick me and not bother to reply. Whenever I would call they would send me from pillar to post and refer me from one person to the next. While the lawyers tried to make right their blunders, FNB law on call instructed them to stop representing me because my policy has lapsed. This is really sickening because since mandating them in March 2019 and in August there was still no progress òn my case and it was after I pushed really hard for progress that the lawyers told me the condonation request was declined and that they would not be helping me further because my policy with FNB Law on Call had lapsed unless if I pay from my pocket. But how could I keep up with the premiums while I was unfairly dismissed and the same lawyers were so *********** that they failed to get anything positive on my labour matter from March to August 2019? When I approached the lawyers they told me I must pay an upfront amount of R10 000 and then the rest of the money as the case progressed. What is the Service Level Agreement between FNB Law on Call and Mudau and Netshipeze? Since March to August 2019 they (lawyers) presented an invoice to FNB Law on Call but what was this for? I didn't not get any assistance from the lawyers and in fact they messed up my case and now I have no chance of recourse as the 30 days has lapsed, I am living from hand to mouth, my accounts are behind and on the verge of being blacklisted if not already, I have to sell my car just to put food on the table and at least be able to have a roof over my head and worst of all, I am sitting with a negative record/red flag which was unfair to begin with but will stay because I can't afford a good and competent lawyer. Where I get interviews, I never get considered after referencing is done and I feel my career is finally ********ated because our justice system seems to favour only the most fortunate. I took out the legal cover so that I could be covered when things are not going well labour-wise but now I have labour problems and now the same cover can't come through for me.

I am really unhappy with FNB and their partners.
