EXTREM BAD SERVICE FROM OLD MUTUAL FOR CLAIM
I logged a claim on 26 October 2020 about my burst pipes under my basin in my bathroom and that the bathroom and part of the living area was flooded. The plumber came out and cut the pipes and placed the copper pipes with pipe plugs. For some reason the assessor / contractor kept contacting my mother and you cannot discuss the problems with her as she 73. Today I called and demanded to be contacted as now my geyser packed up and my kitchen taps started leaking. As far as I am concerned this is all related to pressure of my pipes in the bathroom. Today I was contacted by Old Mutual and was informed that the tap in my kitchen is a maintenance issue, I replaced the pipes and taps in my kitchen December 2012, you cannot tell me that less than 2 years the tap require maintenance. Since 26/10 the water of the geyser started running brown, being a female I didn't think that this was an issue until I spoke to the plumber we use for our company plumbing, yesterday 03/11 my geyser was is not heating. I replaced the thermostat June 2020, how the heck can the thermostat only have a 3 month life span. Then thermostat was installed by a company appointed by my insurer. I got ****py service from them and they were rude and only heard on the day when they installed the thermostat that this was not covered and I had to pay cash. I am still waiting to be contacted by the contractor and would like my claim sorted once and all. I'm not getting any feedback and are available during the course of the day so there is no excuse to not contact me. PLEASE CALL ME
