Exploitation on another level. I have had an overdraft facility with FNB at a minimal amount for around 10 years. I visited the branch to see if I can get an increase on my overdraft and am told no but they can give me a loan instead of R90 000.00. This is shocking when the increase I am asking is for like 10% of what they offering. This is where banks are manipulating the lending market to over expose consumers to their benefit.

16 Jan 2026, 11:07I was contacted on Monday, Tuesday, Yesterday and was assured all was sorted. I called in now to verify and told no sorry it was declined. I demand the call recordings as I was blatantly **** to and this is in breach of the CPA. FNB offers over a Million Rand Bond, You want to give me a R100 000.00 personal loan but do not want to give a R7 000.00 Overdraft citing affordability. REALLY
