Expired fixed rate contract

I have a bond with FNB , i have a fixed rate contract which was supposed to expire on the 12/07/2020 and to my surprise it was changed to 01/02/2021 without my concern, no one called me, no one communicated with me. I called the bank about this matter and they promised to call me back after investigating, no one has called me back. I was looking forward to getting a low interest rate after reporate was lowered, it this moment i need that low interest rate to dave some money because times are hard. This has caused me more financial problems and its a painful experience.
