Expired Cheque Account
When I first app**** for a cheque account I app**** for it at Mall of The North Branch, the lady helping me asked me where I would like my card delivered and I chose home delivery-all this was free.

That is how I expected things to run. Not once have I ever been told that when my cheque account card expires FNB is going to automatically order a new card on my behalf and send it to a branch I opened my account with ages ago without notifying me and confirming if this is agreeable with me.

In all the time I've been with FNB I've relocated many times, does that mean every time I move house I should change my branch as well? Why was this never communicated? Why was I not advised that when my card expires I would have to go collect it at the original branch?

Had anyone indicated to me the above I would have gladly gone to change it. I recently FICA'd with my current address, why was the branch not automatically changed to fit my current address? Why was I not advised?

Now I have to pay R120 to order a new card because going to Midrand is just not an option. I'm extremely unhappy about this. This is a very poor service. I regret advising my 3 colleagues to switch to FNB.
