Exorbitant unnecessary Bank changes

Tried to make a purchase today but my bank account was empty. Fnb had debited my account twice with R155 on 2 & 6 Nov, I queried with Welcome at the call centre, he said Fnb had charged fees as they honoured payments on my behalf due to me being a longstanding customer as my account had insufficient funds but he was unable to tell me what payments Fnb honoured. I did not authorise Fnb to honour any of my payments especially not at that exorbitant ******* charge, secondly Fnb has no right to do as they please with my account without notifying me . On 31 Oct 2017, I was charged R8.50 twice for declined purchases, Welcome tells me this was due to insufficient funds in the account, but there was still a positive balance more than the amount of the declined purchase. I am utterly disappointed at Fnb's ********* conduct and i am considering moving my account to Capitec if these charges are not rectified as Fnb's exorbitant charges are becoming unaffordable in this tough economic day & age

Hello Naomi, it's been 5 days since I've logged my complaint and FNB has not made any attempt as yet to resolve my query. I'm still waiting for FNB to pay back my money

Hello Naomi, Charles White, from FNB Southdale called me, he said these charges are due to the merchants floor limits and FNB has no control over these floor limits has FNB does not authorize these floor limits as they are beyond FNB's control. How does an external banks have more control over my funds than my own bank, who authorized the release of funds from my account if FNB and I didn't, how does a third party help themselves to funds that I don't even have in my account? Charles also said that the FNB app can be accessed without data on my phone, when I tried the app without any data I got a connection error, tired of being pushed from pillar to post by FNB don't know if I can believe anything FNB says anymore, all I get is empty promises and more lies, tired of this, I need answers.
