EXHORBITANT INTEREST RATES CHARGED DESPITE DEBT RESCUE COURT ORDER AND COB FURNISHED / DISCREPANCY OF R59 THOUSAND RAND

When i entered voluntary debt rescue and Order granted in October 2021, on my court Order and with FNB i had 5 accounts / loans including credit and a covid loan that needed to be settled, totalling R 231 109.68. The amounts having been furnished by way of Certificate of Balance to my debt counsellor and acceptance by FNB of the restructuring of the repayment as stipulated on the Court Order.

As at date hereof, and over the 5 accounts, and through by debt counsellor i have paid a total amount of R 135 203.40. Accordingly, my balance owing to FNB should be the sum of R95 906.28. However, i now have 6 profiles on my IPDA statement referring to FNB and i have 6 amounts reflecting that i owe on my FNB banking profile totalling R 155 114.11 owing to FNB as at current date. That is a discrepancy of almost R59 207.83.

I pay through my debt counsellor an amount to be allocated to FNB totalling R 4 006.09 per month to be split over the 5 initial accounts i had with FNB at inception of debt review. This amount would be higher, however the amount allocated to DirectAxis is over R6k per month (that's a different dispute).

I have requested and tried to renegotiate better repayment terms in order to settle amounts faster, and directly instead of through my debt counsellor, and was responded with settlement amounts in total with no reduced interest whatsoever. I have never disputed my amounts owed to FNB, provided same are in line with what was contained in my Court Order. However, to now be charging an amount of nearly R59k over above what is owed, is absolutely ridiculous and outright theft.

Debt rescue was supposed to assist in resolving debt and paying same off in a manageable and quicker fashion, however with the amount of interest and charges and now some extra amount of R59K , my debt to FNB seems never ending and ongoing. It also seems as though the debt will never settle as these amounts just keep increasing. I am not sure what resolution i would like from this complaint, and i don't dispute my debt to FNB (but as stated on my Court Order) and not just some other amount FNB decide to pluck from thin air, but what i would like is to resolve the debt and settle same in a decent amount of time and for it not to be never ending. Its just madness to think that this can continue endlessly.
