Exhausted by FNB

FNB gives new meaning to pillar to post. These last few months (yes months) have been exhausting. We have app**** for a building loan (which is still pending). The process is ridiculous. Initially we were pleased to hear that affordability was approved but we are still not able to finish the process. Someone is either on leave (how many days does an FNB employee get, especially after lockdown?) or the incorrect paper work was completed. Then we have to start the process again at step 1. Our application was finally at the signing part where the lawyers (appointed by the bank) asked for numerous documentation like the COC etc. When querying about this they explained that it is a crucial part of the loan. We want to rebuild our entire house and break it down - how can we give a COC etc? But wait, guess what, the incorrect paper work was once again completed and submitted by FNB. Everyone is so sorry and the matter is again escalated to managers etc. During these months we have realized that 'immediately' at FNB means a minimum of 1 week. As soon as that urgent mail was sent - the automatic reply came through stating that the next person is on leave (no surprise).

Having a private banker at FNB means nothing. My patience is exhausted and so am I...
