Executors Fee OUTRAGEOUS

After receiving the First and Final Distribution account I was shocked to see that FNB charged us R351 657.90 as executors fee. After complaining about this excessive amount, I was notified that they have a right to charge 3.5% plus VAT. The bank claimed that it should have been negotiated with the bank with the drawing up of the will.This after the deceased Financial Adviser told us that there would be NO Costs, since he was a FNB customer for many years running his business and private affairs with FNB. Shame on you FNB that I now cannot negotiate a discount.
