Excessive penalty charges...

I changed a few of my debit orders to the middle of the month (they normally went off the beginning of the month). Due to some miss communication with Cell C their debit order went off a month early for the amount of R1,131.42 on the 15th November... This then put my account in the minus, the same day I swiped my card and received an sms from FNB saying my account is in the minus (at this point I wasn't aware of the Cell C debit order) So at this point there were TWO transactions into the minus and there were several PENDING transactions which were swiped PRIOR to the Cell C debit order (these transactions never took the account into the minus)

Fast forward a few days and those pending transactions now reflect as being swiped AFTER the Cell debit order and I have to now pay penalties for six transactions (R75 x 6 = R450).

This is totally unacceptable and *********. Four of those transactions were done when there was still more than enough money in the account, it's only the Cell C and a single other transaction that took the account into the minus (I don't mind paying penalties for these two)

Yesterday I phoned FNB premier banking and after a long discussion with Mahlatse Mabitsela she said she'll get back to me (she never did, so much for "Premier" banking, what a joke!)

Now I'm not going to fight with you guys anymore than this, I'll give you a week to refund me for 4 of those penalties, If you don't I'll be closing all my accounts and moving my savings to another bank, because I will NOT support an institution that use sly methods like this to take money off their clients
