Excess claim

<p>After paying off my iphone through FNB, spend tooo much on insurance through them as well, my screen cracked. Only to be advised that excess would be R500 plus I must pay for courier charges. Really?! Not then worth getting it fixed, is it? Vodacom insurance only charges me R200 excess. So I promptly cancelled my insurance. Though I am still left with a shattered screen. Rather that than having to pay almost the full price than I would if I fix it privately. What is insurance for then?</p>
