Exceptionally bad FNB / Takealot delivery service

I was meant to receive delivery of my new bank card at my workplace between 08h00 and 17h00 via Takealot. When it came to 16h30 and there was no delivery I contacted the Takealot call centre, who checked on the delivery and said that the driver was in my area and that he had experienced vehicle difficulties during the day. This was not communicated to me at all during the day. I had an opportunity to leave work at 15h00 but turned it down as I was waiting on the delivery. Each time I left the office during the day I would tell our receptionist to please call me should the delivery arrive so that I could be present to produce my ID as I was instructed. By 17h00 when the delivery did not arrive, I left to go home. 20 minutes later at home, I checked my cellphone and I saw two messages confirming that my bank card had been delivered. I started panicking as I did not receive the card. There was also a missed call from the Takealot driver who I contacted. Halfway through me trying to speak to the driver, he ended the call. I called back and he cut me short, saying he was busy with a client and ended the call again! I called back a third time and he never answered. I called the Takealot customer number and got a message saying that the office hours are from 08h00 until 18h00 and the call cut out after the message. I tried twice, even though it was before 17h30, it seemed that the office was closed and no one would be taking my call. When I arrived at work this morning, a colleague informed me that they received a delivery on my behalf and I found the envelope which was left overnight in our reception area. First of all, how does a delivery, especially a bank card get handed over to just anyone and secondly I was told to be present to receive the delivery along with my ID. My colleague had no idea what was in the envelope and politely left the envelope for me at Reception, where anyone could have taken it. I am absolutely livid at this service and lack of security. In this day and age one takes every precaution to safeguard yourself and bank cards and then you get this putrid service which could have landed me up in deep trouble if the card had gotten into the wrong hands. I am still awaiting an explanation

Really FNB???? Still no update on this matter. All I've received in the last 24hrs are various messages and one call, telling me the matter is being investigated. What now???
