Exactly a month ago I app**** for a credit card with FNB, and I still have no outcome for my application. Endless number of calls and consultants that do not know what they are talking about.

Exactly a month ago I app**** for a credit card with FNB, and I still have no outcome for my application.

I sent all the documents they told me I needed to send, after a few working days I called to follow up, only to find out there were still outstanding documents they needed from me. This sequence of me not hearing from them with regards to my application, and then phoning them to follow up to find out that I still need to send them other documents happened more than twice.

After they assured me they had all the documents needed I still wasn't hearing from them. I phoned easily 6 times in the course of this month, getting different explanations from each consultant that answered my call. They promised me that the matter would be escalated and attended to, this happened at least 3 times, still didn't hear from them.

Today I phoned one more time and my call was answered by a lady by the name of Mohadi Nthoba who told me that my application had a document missing, one that I had already sent on the 18th of September 2018!

I was so frustrated and fed up that I asked her to put me through to her supervisor, she kept me waiting for 20 minutes, then she told me her supervisor couldn't attend to my call at the moment but that she could see on the system that different consultants have submitted more than one application on my behalf and so all my documents were scattered, allocated to different applications. She told me she would ask her supervisor to solve it but to be honest at this point I am so fed up and disappointed in FNB. The supervisor, Semeya, couldn't even answer my call or have the decency to call me back.

I have been banking with them for more than 3 years and this is how they repay me. I spent so much money calling them this past month and I still have no outcome to my application, at this point I feel like I should change banks because clearly they do not value their customers.
