Ewallet services not safe anymore
hello peter, on Saterday the 28 march 2015 at about 1pm , i sent myself R800.00 from my FNB cheque account to ewallet account so that i can withdraw without a card as i didn't have my card with at that moment. Money was sent successfully into ewallet account and when i got to an ATM i tried to get one- time-pin so that i can access the funds. i never receive the pin even after several attempts. i then called FNB Ewallet Services they told me the money was withdrawn at Boxer Supermarket at about 9am. i wondered how, because i only send the money at about 1pm and i didn't even receive the one-time -pin. the guy i was talking to over the phone told me he will open a ***** case for investigation. i got a feedback today from FNB ewallet services stating that, they not refunding my money as the money was been withdrawn. i urge fellow South African to avoid using this service as they may loose their money for no apparent reason. How was the funds withdrawn without one-time -pin??? and i never went to Boxer supermarket on that day. Surely there is something wrong with FNB System. i need my money back. Be careful South Africans when using FNB services.
