EWALLET FEE OF R22 ridiculous for an electronic transaction
I am so fedup with FNB fee charges these days. I help a few people with EWALLET as they do not own banks. 3 of them are family. I noticed since last month I am billed R11 per ewallet transaction, which I send on the same time, that is R33 at a time. My brothers also confirmed they had to pay the R11 as well. So on an amount of R150, R22 is taken for an electronic transaction. I want a public reply on this and not a private reply so everybody can see how you actually ripoff poor people.

17 Jul 2020, 12:45After an agent of FNB called me regarding the ewallet fee of R11 that is charged to both the sender and receiver, I can confirm that it is now only R2.
Thank you this is much appreciated and more in line with what people can afford and willing to pay.

10 Aug 2020, 13:08Ok, I am retracting my comment that FNB only charged R2. The bank gone back almost 2 weeks later and again charged R11: Here is their response:
From Koketso: Good ay , please note that on the 08/07/2020 you sent two ewallets and you were only charged R4.00 for both, the standard ewallet fee is R11.00 The charge is to rectify that previously incorrect charge that you were charged.
So yes. FNB How can we **** you over is determined in their mission not to help people but help them out of money.
