Ewallet and FNB Forcing Zero Account down peoples throats
I transferred money to my mother in law to what I though would be her normal ewallet. She tried to access the money from the ATM and received an error message. When I phone the ewallet department I was told that she has to go in to activate her Zero account.
She does not require a zero account. And during this time where we have been requested by the government to self isolate due to COVID 19 you would like to put an old person at risk. You would rather have her get in a tazi and go to a shopping centre to get a card that she does not require then keep her safety as a first priority? Your consultants say that they cannot remotely reverse the action that she had supposedly taken to change her ewallet to a Zero account.
I find this to be either shortsighted or that you are trying force someones hand into getting a formal bank account from you. I am severely disappointment in this service I have received. You have taken something that has always worked perfectly fine and ruined it.
