Ever wondered why FNB has become the house of ****s, the bank has just become too inefficient. And their forex side of business is the worst.
More than 6 months ago, we requested for change of signatories on our account - to this date, this request is still outstanding. Was angered to hear that the bank is still contacting people who no longer have anything to do with our company, all because of the banks inefficiency and their staff 's lack of ownership of their work. After numerous submissions and re submissions - guess what, it is still not done. Opening room to lose and ****s and many other risks. I asked myself- is it because this bank has become too big to' HELP' its customers? Never mind complaining to ********** - l don't think anyone actually looks at that email. And yet, one of the key Enterprise Risk Management requirements is for them to keep a register of complains and how they are resolved. Bottom line - they don't care. And worst still if it is a request that does not award any of their consultant with a commission - you can forget it. Our business is forex centered. Now all the foreign consultants have been retrenched. Ever walked into a bank and tell your banker or the consultants how to process your transactions?? Well this is how they do it at FNB. What is innovation if there is porous or no security at all for your funds, your information, your business and everything that a bank is meant to protect. So if one an exporter, importer or just deals in Foreign Currency - best to think again if you are with FNB.
