Even in death,will they mess you around

The executor of my late moms estate is trying to get FNB to close and pay the money to the late estate trust account.The only thing they have done is close the maximiser account and transfer the money into the current account that attracts no interest,and still allow a stop order to go through.This has been going on now for over 8 months and is holding up the whole estate being wound up. The executor has been pushed from pillar to post to try and get the money. And while they hold onto the money it is not earning a cent of interest. My Mom passed away in Aug 2020.
