Good day FNB, I'm reaching out about an issue with an estate late bank account that was opened in my husband's and my name, despite us both being very much alive. I'd like to understand how this mistake occurred and get clarification on the situation. Could you please look into this and provide some answers? Ombudsman Case -

Dear FNB,

I would like to bring to your attention that the current investigation is with the Ombudsman, not with the police.

The police officer initially provided an incorrect account number, which rendered any potential investigation futile. As a result, the police referred me to the Ombudsman for further assistance.

I have attached a screenshot from our previous conversation where you mentioned providing information to the investigating officer. However, due to the incorrect account number, no valid information was shared.

I kindly request that you:

Acknowledge receipt of my new case with the Ombudsman.

Update your records to reflect the Ombudsman case.
