Escaping the greedy clutches of evil FNB more difficult than running an ultra marathon without legs

Due to their inaccurate marketing, i was one of the poor suckers who actually took up FNB on their card offering. For two years all went well. In December 2015, I decided to cancel the card, as I was moving banks. The card has been cancelled more than 3 times (in December, January and February). Each time, the card has been settled to zero. Each time, I am told that the card is now clear. Each month, another debit order for the monthly fee is carved off my account. I am now sitting on the retention card line, which has been ringing for more than 15 minutes. Its a special form of hell where no-one can assist at all. I am doomed to the end of days to pay these vampires R88p.m. as they are incapable of assisting. Note that if you want to call them to open an account, its all hours of the day, but try close one. Impossible.
