Error code can't get solved because FNB confused with own structure
I have a problem with buying Lotto and Powerball via FNB. This has now been going on for some time. Either on the App or the Online channel. On the Online, I receive a message "Msx Technical error Error code 999 reference VODSB7B939KN" There were also reference VODS9JZMF4KN and some earlier ones. On the App I get a similar message that something technical is blocking me of a successful buy. The real cause of my problem is that it seems impossible to contact. My first try is via the Tech number ***. On Friday I phoned too late, but first had to listen to a person extolling the virtues of the App for solving all my problems - which it can't and it cost me 90 seconds of phone time. On Saturday I phoned and had to wait through the same message, just to learn that they are experiencing high volumes. I hung up after 5 minutes of listening to the stories about the wonderful App. On Monday (today) I phoned the same number early and got through. The quality of the line is not good, but I got the drift that Tech can't solve, so she put me through to Support *** and after I explained got my settings checked, I got put through to Connect *** where I was told that Online and App are different channels and I need to speak to ***. Then the same person started to tell me how good this App is, even if it can't solve my problem. By then the call was 12 mins in duration and I got the message. So I hung up. Somewhere along the line I tried "Have your say" in the App - after some time typing to describe the issue, I submitted and received an error. Next I took a look at "Secure chat" but that had limited options under which chat is allowed - my issue not one of those.
My experience is that FNB doesn't have a channel that can solve the error I am experiencing. It is very confusing to me and seemingly to them as well, about who is doing what in that company. Solving the error code seems close to impossible.
