Error code: 217 and broken correspondence.

I am living and working abroad but I send my mom money from time to time, I last sent her money in August, however, my account has now been deactivated. Error code: 217. I been trying for 13 days to get my account reactivated. I have jumped through all the phone automation hoops and been passed on from one department to the next and sent the relevant documentation to the correct department and heard nothing back for a week1? A desperate email to the manager and I finally got confirmation that my emails had been received. I have been told my account is active but it is NOT and once again I am not getting any reply from the department in charge.

I would like to add that while my account is inactive FNB are still taking money for me to have this account?!!

In the 15 years of being with FNB I am shocked that service has gotten this bad. While I know some things can take time to process, the lack of correspondence is just unacceptable. At least let me know what stage it is at.
