Ensures limit breach to disallow int rebate

I received my bank statement from FNB today that did not show my interest rebate for the month. On enquiry they stated that my account went over the credit limit before funds came in. However, their costs for the incoming payment caused the limit to be breached on the same day. Then they said that I need to discuss it with the bank manager of the nearest branch to me - it doesn't make sense that they or their forex dept. couldn't be able to help me over the telephone?? I suspect that FNB aims to ensure that I do not receive my int rebate so that they can make more money out of me. I shall leave FNB because of how they treat me - hooking me in with all their products and then treating me like dirt.

I did lodge a complaint on their website. They came back to me and it was sorted out. It was very professionally dealt with. Thanks Patricia
